The Fitter Trade is a two-year skill-based training program offered at Yashodeep ITI, recognized by the NCVT. This course provides in-depth training in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, fitting operations, and fabrication techniques commonly used in manufacturing and engineering industries. Students are trained in using hand tools, machines, precision instruments, and workshop safety practices through extensive hands-on sessions.
The program focuses on developing competencies in interpreting mechanical drawings, fitting and joining components, and maintaining industrial machines and structures. After completion of the coursework, a one-year industrial apprenticeship is required to enhance field experience. Graduates of the Fitter trade are well-equipped for roles in sectors like automotive, fabrication, tool-making, and heavy machinery industries.
The Electrician Trade at Yashodeep ITI is a two-year vocational program affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). This course is designed to train students in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The curriculum blends theoretical concepts with hands-on practical sessions conducted in fully-equipped electrical labs.
Students gain expertise in wiring systems, electrical circuits, power distribution, equipment handling, safety protocols, and the use of modern diagnostic tools. Upon successful completion, students must undergo a mandatory one-year apprenticeship in the industry to refine their skills in real-world applications. The program prepares students for employment in government electricity boards, construction companies, manufacturing units, and maintenance firms, or to pursue self-employment as licensed electricians.
